The House the Forest Went Silent Around

This house and land healing took place in the Ozarks for a close friend who lived in the woods. He had been living on the property for several years and was experiencing intense mood swings within the home. He noticed that he became angrier while inside the house, and his children were having frequent nightmares and were negatively affected by the energy of the space. He was afraid that if he didn’t do something about it soon, it would get worse. This is also a man of science who doesn’t necessarily believe in these sorts of things, so for him to reach out asking for help told me how desperate he was.
He also shared that previous residents had died in the home, that it had been abandoned for a period of time, and that many unhoused individuals had temporarily lived there. Before the healing, I tuned into the land and immediately sensed multiple lost spirits on the property. Most notably, I felt that the trees themselves were frightened, having witnessed a great deal of disturbance and trauma over the years.
There was another type of energy present that I initially had difficulty identifying. It felt dark, sticky, and shadowy. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what I was sensing, but I later realized it was a thought form. A thought form is a non-physical energetic construct that exists within the mental, astral, or energetic planes. When thoughts are repeatedly focused on—especially when charged with strong emotions such as fear, anger, grief, devotion, or desire—they can gain coherence, momentum, and even a degree of autonomy. This particular thought form felt angry, fearful, and heavy, and had been created over time by the people who had lived on the property. Needless to say, the energy of the land and home was extremely intense.
When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the complete absence of sound. No birds. No animals rustling in the woods. Given the location, this was highly unusual and felt unsettling. We began inside the house, where I could feel the thought form actively avoiding me. I sensed that it was most active in the evening and knew that I would only be able to clear it then.
The heaviest energy was in my friend’s son’s room. I could feel that this was where the thought form lingered most often. My friend confirmed that his son was the most affected by the thought form. The room was dark and cluttered, with food on the floor and the curtains closed—an environment where negative energies can thrive. His son also had a long closet, approximately 20–30 feet deep, with a strange opening near the back. This was where the entity primarily resided, which explained why his son was impacted so deeply. Below is an image of what the closet space looked like.

The energy in the home was lifting, thankfully. After clearing as much energy as possible inside the house, we moved to the shop outside. My friend explained that this was the place where he felt the most uncomfortable. He wanted to work on projects there but could never stay long. He had been informed by his real estate agent that unhoused individuals had used drugs in the space in the past. Negative entities thrive on people with drug addictions, so I knew the shop carried a lot of that residual energy.
As soon as I entered the shop, I immediately felt that someone had died there—specifically by suicide. I also sensed a sharp, black thread running from the ceiling to the floor, radiating death and suffering. It visually resembled a noose, which led me to wonder if that was how this individual had passed. I was guided to pull the thread apart, stretch it, and weaken it before pushing it outside of the shop, which you can see in the video below. My friend opened the garage door so I could move the energy outward. Once the black thread was removed, I replaced it with a pure source light thread and expanded that energy throughout the entire shop. After intense clearings like this, I always have the homeowner speak aloud what energy they wish to call into the space, and we did that here as well.
I needed a breather after that one, so we walked outside to get some air. Almost immediately, I became aware of a spirit just outside the shop where the energy had been pushed out. This spirit was frantic, fragmented, and incoherent. I attempted to communicate with him, but it felt like speaking to someone who had just experienced severe trauma—grounded conversation was impossible.
I then realized this was the same spirit who had died in the shop. When the black thread was released, he was released as well. Because communication was difficult, I offered him two options: he could ground himself into the cool earth or transition to the healing lands of spirit. He chose the earth. I gently placed him into the ground near a shed and made a mental note to return later to help him cross over to Source once he had stabilized which you can see me doing in the picture below.

It was time to tend to the land and trees, which were deeply disturbed by what they had witnessed over the decades—possibly centuries—particularly prolonged drug use and death. One tree, in particular, was holding spirits within its trunk. This did not feel like imprisonment, but rather protection. One spirit felt like a slave who had been killed near that tree, along with two women who had died from illness in the same area.
As we walked the property burning herbs to cleanse and bless the land, I had my friend speak directly to the trees, reassuring them that they were safe under his care. He also left offerings for the trees he felt most drawn to. This helped ease the tension of the land, as the trees understood they were now protected and that the spirits they had been holding would be guided onward.
As night fell, a storm began to approach—perfect timing, as the storm would further cleanse the land. The land communicated that fire was needed to clear the remaining negative energy, including the thought form and lingering spirits. My friend built a fire, and I asked my spirit guides to pull the thought-form energy out of the house and into the flames. Thankfully, with all the cleansing and healing energy we had called in, this greatly weakened the thought form. I could see thick, black, tar-like energy oozing from the home. It felt incredibly heavy. As this happened, rain began to fall, yet the fire burned strongly.
I then gathered the spirits we had encountered throughout the day (with the exception of the one I had placed in the earth, whom I had temporarily forgotten—I’ll explain that shortly). Before crossing over, some spirits require healing to make the transition gentler and more comfortable. I lined them up in front of me and began healing their chakras simultaneously, tracing my fingers over a chakra labyrinth—a healing modality I use to assist spirits in crossing over.
As their trauma and blockages cleared, the fire grew taller, which you can see in the video below. Once their chakras were healed, I called in their higher selves to escort them to Source. Almost immediately after doing so, a bolt of lightning struck approximately 300 feet away from us. It was powerful, awe-inspiring, and felt like a final release of any remaining energy holding them back.
It was incredible.

I stayed at my friend’s house that night. After such an intense day, there was no way I was driving four hours home. This type of work can be physically and energetically exhausting, especially given the density of the energy on the property.
The next morning, my friend went to take a shower—and the water suddenly stopped working. This had never happened before. Confused, he went to the shed where the water equipment was housed and discovered that something had broken. I immediately felt uneasy. I wondered if we had missed something or accidentally worsened the situation the day before, causing this to happen.
When he showed me the shed, I gasped. It was directly next to where I had placed the frantic spirit in the earth the day before. I had forgotten about him, and this was his way of getting our attention. Inside the shed, his energy was even more frantic and fragmented. I could feel fragmented aspects of him thrashing, curled up in a corner, and screaming for help. Communication was again nearly impossible. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to wrangle all of these rapidly fragmenting aspects of him. I was panicking—and looking back, this was likely due to me taking on his energy in that moment.
Suddenly, a soft, maternal, feminine presence began to channel through me. I allowed it. My voice became gentle and nurturing, and I spoke to him as though I were his mother. This immediately calmed him and allowed his other aspects to gently return to him. Through that presence, the woman I channeled guided him through the transition into spirit, and then he was gone.
I believe this presence was one of his ancestors who stepped in to help. The familiarity of that energy allowed him to trust and cross over. It was profound—something I had never experienced before.
As I walked out of the shed, I heard birds chirping. I saw squirrels running through the grass. The land felt alive again—something that had been absent for who knows how long.
A week later, my friend sent me photos of deer and raccoons returning to the property. He told me he hadn’t seen this much wildlife since moving there. It was deeply reassuring and confirmed that the land had been restored and was finally at peace.
I am so grateful to do this work for others. I, too, receive a great deal of healing from these experiences. If you are having issues with your land or property and would like me to look into it, email me at alex@soulinspiredart.com. I would love to help
